This week you’ll receive scene 50, which is halfway through, so I figured now is a good time to check in. I finished writing a couple weeks ago, and the book will be 100 scenes, as I predicted. It’s getting final edits now, and I expect it will be released on Amazon in paperback & Kindle editions on the same day the last scene drops: June 25.
If you know anyone who you think would be enjoying Perplexity, please reach out to them and suggest they jump in. All the scenes so far are available on the website perplexitybook.com.
If you are enjoying this book, you might enjoy some of my other novels. My most recent is a financial thriller called Singularity. You can get it for Kindle and in paperback. It’s about millennial dating and cryptocurrency and quantum physics. It’s not YA like Perplexity, but it’s not too racy.
If “women’s fiction” is more your speed, my novel before that is a heroine’s journey called Apotheosis. (That one won a book award in the U.K.) Again, it’s available for Kindle and paperback. It’s about a woman in her late 40s who decides to break out of the rut she’s in. There’s a love theme, and it’s definitely not YA, but again, not too racy.
If you can’t decide between ebook and paperback, I’ll tell you that while my royalties are higher for Kindle (even if you read in Kindle Unlimited), I think the paperback is a better reading experience. As the kids might say, books on paper hit different.
And with that, I’ll leave you to enjoy this beautiful weekend.
Yours in Isolation,
